All-Girls Bible Study

Hello Ladies~ Our first all-girls bible study called IMPACT will kick off this Thursday night, October 8, at 7PM at Lauren's house. Please bring either a snack or a 2-liter drink. Can't wait to see y'all!!

Breakaway 2009 for the Junior High will be postponed until further notice. Our sincerest apologies for those of you who already signed up!

9th Grade Genesis Weekend

Sign up now for the 9th grade Genesis Weekend!!! This Saturday!! Meet at FBC at 2:00 PM to head out to the Ballpark in Arlington to hear a Mercy Me concert & then stay for the Rangers game. The cost is free but you do need to bring money for refreshments at the Ballpark! Also bring: Sunday clothes, a 2 liter drink, snacks, pillow, sleepingbag, bible, toiletries, etc. The girls will sleep at the Teagues house. Check out the facebook invitation!
Parents - there will be a Parent Breakfast during Sunday School in Lovvorn Hall this Sunday!

Breakaway '09

Get ready for the Jr. High Retreat coming up on September 25th & 26th at the Lakeview Camp & Conference Center in Waxahachie, TX!!!! The cost is $65 per person and is due no later than September 20th. Your Junior High Interns will lead awesome lessons while Matt Wheeler rocks the house in worship!! You don't want to miss out on this weekend!!! Contact FBD Student Ministry with any questions...

Promotion Sunday in NEXT WEEK - August 23rd!! 11th grade will move up to the 3rd Floor, 8th Grade will move to 2R...Get ready for a great fall with your new departments!!!

Come THIS Wednesday night to Retro Skate Night on the 6th floor of the Veal. Dinner will be catered by Chick-Fil-A and there will be an iTunes Gift Card for the best 70's costume!!! It's going to be a blast!!!! Recap: Come to the church Wednesday from 6:00 PM - 8:30 PM for skating!

FRIDAY (August 14) @ 6:30 - SENIOR HIGH Sleepover at Lauren's house. Bring $3 for pizza, towel, pillow, swimsuit, blanket/sleeping bag, snacks, and drinks. This will be the last sleepover before school starts (sorry FBA - I know you start on Thursday) and the last sleepover before Kelsi has to go back to college :( There is a chance that Barbara Cole might stop in. 11th grade pool party tomorrow (Saturday, August 8) at the home of Dan and Renee Hayes from 11:00 - 4:00pm. The party is for incoming and outgoing 11th graders!! Be there!!
